Uncommitted righthander Zack Robinson (2022, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) closed out the morning game and showed a lot of things to like. Robinson punched out five batters while allowing just one hit over two scoreless innings that was enough for him to slam the door and help the FTB Rockets advance to the championship round. Robinson is a well-built pitcher with an obviously projectable build, a low effort release, and a simple, efficient arm stroke. The fastball worked in the 82-84 mph range with good life to the pitch and he was adept at locating it to either side of the plate. The breaking ball showed good power and shape too and it was a quick look at Robinson but he should be monitored closely and has some already impressive tools.
