It was a short look, and by short look I mean just ten pitches, but righthander Andrew Daniels (2023, Forney, Texas) impressed none the less with his arm speed and overall raw arm strength. Checking in at No. 25 in the class of 2023 rankings, Daniels recorded two quick outs via strikeout showing a long but quick arm action through the back from which his fastball took off through the zone and got on hitters quickly. He made a brief appearance earlier in the tournament where he was up to 88 mph and while he didn’t quite get there in this look, he did throw a few sliders that have made promising progress.
