14U WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6

Hudson Shoaf (2024, Germantown, Tenn.) hammered baseballs all morning to start out playoff day. Shoaf is a physical catcher and outfielder whose strength at impact is loud and it happened in nearly every at-bat of the day. He laced balls with high exit velocities to both sides of the field. He showed the ability to stick it behind the plate, framing well with a good strong wrist. His swing in the righthanded box is certainly powerful with a line drive plane through the zone. He meets the ball on time and out in front producing jump to all fields. The righty from the Exit Velocity Yankees hit an insane .615 with a bomb and three doubles during this week’s 14U WWBA and has been invited to attend the PG 14U National Showcase in early August.
