WWBA Underclass Uncommitted Scout Notes: Day 1

The WWBA Underclass World Championship is a national stage where the top underclass talent comes together, some known on the circuit while others are making their first impressions on Perfect Game scouts. With the abundance of scouting reports field away each day from our scouts and the current state of recruiting, we have split our recaps into committed and uncommitted features, all of which will be linked at the top of each daily installment.




One of the many standouts from the Class of 2023 All-American Games in late August was catcher Charlie Carter (2023, Little Rock, Ark.). He put the barrel to the baseball on a pair of instances including a hard 2 RBI double down the right field line. Carter is an Oklahoma State commit and a very strongly built sophomore at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. He appears even taller than that in the box and moves really well with plenty of flexibility behind the dish even with that great size. The Arkansas native was one of a slew of hitters in the MidSouth Prospects lineup who helped in the 15-1 victory.
