Robert Garner (2025, Moultrie, Ga.) got the start early Saturday morning for 5 Star National Haynes and was mighty impressive. He sports a physical-for-the-age kind of build, standing at 6-foot with a strong lower half and broad shoulders. The right-hander shows simple drop-and-drive mechanics as he does a good job staying under control. The arm action works, and he projects plenty more velocity down the road. With his size and arsenal, you will see him to continue to go deep into starts. He ran the fastball up to 80 mph during his outing and mixed in a sharp breaking ball in the upper-60s. In 4 1/3 innings pitched, he struck out six while giving up just one hit as he picked up the win.

Yenli Nolasco (2025, Smyrna, Ga.) found a ton of barrels this weekend in the box. The right-handed hitter was a key piece for the East Cobb Pirates semifinal run. He displays plenty of quick-twitch type muscle and is still lean in the frame, showing plenty of room to fill out. He does a great job delivering the barrel on time as he stays short to the baseball while proving he can drive it to all fields. He also showcased some power in the swing as he had three extra-base knocks on the weekend, including a pair of doubles and a triple. He also stole three bags and that speed translated into the outfield as he covered plenty of real estate. Nolasco ended the weekend with a .385 average in 15 plate appearances.
