Austin Lemons (2023, Randleaman, N.C.) came in relief during the first game of the tournament pitching for the GBC Prepstars-Power. Lemons slammed the door shut in the bottom of the sixth inning. With his long arms and a well-controlled delivery, Lemons creates great downhill action on his fastball that is quickly on top of the hitters. He was topping 89 mph with his fastball and struck out two in one inning of work.

Ethan Belk (2023, Rock Hill, S.C.) was showcasing plus tools from the start of the game by crushing a triple to the left-center gap in his first at bat. He also has plus awareness around the basepaths showing great speed all game. Belk plays for the Charlotte Megastars and is a force at the plate with great power and bat-to-ball skills. He also has quick hands, great hip rotation, and a very difficult out. The uncommitted outfielder will be committed soon. Finished the day going 5-for-6 with a double, triple and two RBI.
