South Qualifier Scout Notes: Day 1-2
 

Blake Binderup (2022, College Station, Texas) is an imposing figure on the mound with loud stuff. He has a lean 6-foot-6, 205-pound frame and throws on a downhill plane. It’s a compact delivery with clean arm action and has a solid three-pitch mix. His fastball was up to 91 this outing but he’s been a tick higher this summer. His secondary offerings are a solid two-plane curveball that was low- to mid-70s with bite and a changeup with some late sink. The Texas A&M commit also had a solid day at the plate with a no-doubt home run to left on Sunday.
