Wyatt Talik (2022, Lilburn, Ga.), a 5-foot-10, 195-pound catcher, had a good weekend both at the plate and behind the dish. Talik showed a powerful swing from the right-handed batter’s box with some more to come. He always found himself up at the plate with runners on and came through most of the time, driving in three runs over the weekend. The ABAC commit is a very good defensive catcher, having quick feet and a quality throwing arm. He finished up the weekend batting .273 with one double in four games. He caught half of the games behind the plate and is one of the vocal leaders on the team. Impressive weekend for the Parkview native, showing why he is one of the top-ranked catchers in the state.
