Titles Earned at Northeast Spring Qualifier

14U Super25 Northeast Spring Super Qualifier
The Tri State Arsenal 2026 Marucci bats were on fire this weekend, as the Arsenal would take home the 14U major title of the Super25 Northeast Spring Super Qualifier.

Totaling 33 runs scored throughout their four games, the Arsenal would put up 10 runs during the championship game matchup against the Garden State Ducks and ultimately won by a 10-2 margin. They put up an early four-spot in the bottom of the first, as Tri State would put themselves in the driver’s seat early, continuing to add runs throughout to give themselves a cushion.



Tri State received contributions up and down their lineup the entire weekend, with great approaches at the plate and timely hitting. Chris Graff was one of the many standouts for the Arsenal as his hot weekend would continue in the championship game, collecting his third multi-hit game of the weekend as he went 2-for-3, finishing his weekend with a .636 average, five stolen bases and seven runs scored.

Frank Soos would join Graff, as he too would go 2-for-3 in the final game of the weekend, also collecting his third multi-hit game and finishing with a .636 average and six RBI to his credit. Soos’ RBI single in the first inning would ultimately get the Arsenal rolling offensively and set the tone from the five-hole.

Brady Abate would take MVP honors for his weekend with an impressive state line that included eight RBI, five runs scored and a .556 average. With an inside-the-park grand slam in Tri State’s first game of the weekend, the cleanup man for the Arsenal would do his job all weekend in driving in runs, recording at least one RBI in all four games this weekend.

Tri State pitchers would only surrender seven runs over the weekend, as Thomas Conroy, Carter Bucci, Jared Kligerman, and Shane Monaghan would all turn in quality starts for the Arsenal, minimizing the damage and allowing their offense to give them a cushion in each game. Conroy would take home MV-Pitcher honors with his complete game effort in game one, an eight-strikeout performance in which he only allowed one run and scattered six hits over seven innings of work. Conroy utilized his arsenal well, mixing his fastball and breaking ball effectively, keeping the Bergen Crush lineup off balance all game.
 

 
13U Super25 Northeast Spring Qualifier
The Diamond Jacks Super 13s upset the top-seeded East Coast Ghost in a tightly-contested, back-and-forth championship game.

The Diamond Jacks would piece together runs and capitalize on some early mistakes, getting off to an early 3-0 lead. The Ghost would counter by putting up a four-spot in the bottom half of the second, highlighted by a Noah Feldman two-run double, bringing home Matthew Zweidinger and Brody Mauro. The Diamond Jacks would respond and tie things back up in the top of the third, as Justin Labrador would come into score on a Michael Meyers walk. Again, the Ghost would counter in the bottom half as Jayden Lugo lined an RBI double into left, later coming in to score on a Brady Guzzie sac fly. That run made it 6-4 in favor of the Ghost heading into the fourth.

In the top of the fifth, the Diamond Jacks would put up a crooked number, thanks to four consecutive singles from Nehemiah Diaz, Wyatt Morrissey, Michael Meyers, and Nikolas Holot. The knocks would push two runs across to tie the game at 6, and a Jackson Staples sac fly with the bases loaded would plate Morrissey, giving Diamond Jacks a 7-6 lead.

The Ghost would counter again with a run in the bottom half, as RJ Conover would plate Michael Knox with a sac fly to tie things at 7.

But once again, the gritty Diamond Jacks would scratch and claw their way back into this game. Tied at seven, a two-out Morrissey single in the top of the seventh would give the Diamond Jacks late life, and he would come around to score the game’s go-ahead run on a miscue off the bat of Holot. Sandro Salomone’s two-run single a few batters later would give the Diamond Jacks more run support, as everyone in attendance knew a one-run lead was not safe in this game.

Ultimately, the Ghost would not be able to match the deficit as they had done numerous times before in this game. Another Lugo RBI double would be all they could muster, as the Diamond Jacks would come away victorious, 10-8.

Nick Do would take home the MVP award, recording a knock in all five of the Diamond Jacks' games, wrapping up his weekend with a .357 average, five runs scored, three RBI, and five stolen bases, while also taking the bump in pool play tossing four scoreless innings, collecting three punchouts. The Swiss army knife did it all for the Diamond Jacks this weekend.

A whopping twenty states are represented in the initial Top-50, a number that is staggering when you look at the amount of depth some of these rosters have across the nation. Leading the group is St. John Bosco (CA), a team that brought home a CIF Southern D1 title in 2025 and bring back a strong group of seniors to look to repeat. Stoneman Douglas (FL) is a name most people should know by now in the high school ranks and comes in as our preseason #2 team, looking to win their sixth straight state championship in Florida. Perfect Game Winter Blow-Out 18U Division Burlington, Iowa Jan 17-18, 2026   BURLINGTON, IOWA- The 2026 Perfect Game Winter Blowout, held in the Fun City Turf bubble was competitive from start to finish. Seven teams from three states converged to sharpen their skills and compete for the title. In the end, the Iowa Dynamite 18U took home the hardware, defeating the Alliance Select Harper in the finale.
