15u Battle of the Midwest Scout Notes: Days 1-2





Xavier Crowder (2025, Westchester, Ill.) has taken aggressive hacks all weekend for Cangelosi Sparks North 2025 Black. He led off bracket play on Sunday with a long home run deep to left field for his second of the tournament. Crowder stands with a slightly open stance in the box, with high back elbow. He has shown quick hands all weekend with a spray approach, lining extra-base hits and hard contact to all parts of the field. Crowder ended the weekend going 5-for-10 at the plate with 2 home runs, 1 triple, 2 singles, and 4 walks. Crowder has a great knack for getting on base and providing a spark for the Cangelosi offense, all while holding down the middle infield and showing off a clean glove. Crowder has garnished lots of interest from D-I coaches around the country, and only expect that to continue as he continues to put weekends like this together.
