FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The 17th annual 16u BCS National Championship begins again in Fort Myers today, running through July 10, when that 17th champion will be crowned.

A total of 108 teams will be in town to compete, with much of the top talent in the 2024 class rostered for the event.

Fabio Peralta leads the way in that department, as the No. 10 overall prospect in the class will be suiting up for CBU 2024 Scout Team. Henry Allen isn’t far behind at No. 14 overall, playing for eXposure 16u Prime Church. Schuyler Sandford (No. 38, FL Dodgers 2024 Scout Team), Anthony Tralongo (No. 39, eXposure 16u Prime Church), Brennon Seigler (No. 52, eXposure 16u Prime Church), Angel Cepeda (No. 66, Vendetta Baseball Academy), Cade Oleary (No. 72), eXposure 16u Prime Church), James Nesta (No. 76, South Charlotte Panthers 2024), and Drake Purvis (No. 95, South Charlotte Panthers 2024) are the other top-100 prospects in attendance.

eXposure 16u Prime Church naturally looks like one of the teams to beat at the tournament, with the four top-100 players, and four other top-200 prospects rostered.

The list of committed players is long and impressive at the 16u BCS National Championship, with programs such as Miami, Mississippi State, Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Florida, and other powerhouses all already earning verbal commitments from prospects in attendance.
