Jaylen Walker (2026, Pearland, Texas) showed out over the first two days of the Fall South Elite Championship with his loud tool set showing up on both sides of the ball. The 28th ranked player in the class got his weekend off to a good start at the plate with a long double in the opposite field gap. He continues to display solid power projection to all fields with a mature ability to get his strong lower half involved and create leverage at the point of contact. Walker hopped on the mound on Saturday and showcased maybe his loudest tool with his arm strength and movement on his stuff. He ran the heater up to 88 mph showing heavy arm-side life. He also mixed in the breaking ball with late depth in the mid-70s as a pitch that shows solid projection moving forward as he continues to refine the skill set overall.
