Chris Tavarez (2024, Rîo Grande, P.R.) showed some of the best hands in the entire tournament handling shortstop. His soft, smooth transfers and quality actions to either side roaming the dirt really stood out. He made a handful of plays with the glove and found a few hits on the week, showing a quick path with good extension and minimal wasted movement. Lets the hands work and creates some hard liners when timed. It’s a solid profile with a good chance to stick up the middle long term.
