15u WWBA Battle for the Midwest 

Riley Asmus (2026, Morris, Minn.) was electric on the mound today for Minnesota Blizzard 2026 Blue. The six-foot-three, 170-pound right-handed pitcher used a fastball, curveball mix to keep hitters off balance all game. His delivery is controlled and effortless with good feel for the strike zone. As he continues to develop physically, and adds more arm speed on the mound, watch for the velocity to continue to tick up. His fastball reached 79 mph with some natural sink to it. He recorded seven strikeouts through four innings of play. Good first look at Asmus.
