Keelan Zumwalt (2028, Lees Summit, Mo.) was a huge standout for age and has immense physical ability amongst his peers. There is big left-handed power potential here in a stronger frame, as he left the yard deep to the pull side and sprayed together several extra-base hits over two days, even showing some feel the other way and barreling up a triple to the deepest part of center field. It’s good rhythm from an upright stance and a loose hanging leg trigger into contact. He has a good understanding of leveraging his front side, putting on the brakes and lifting the ball in the air with backspin and producing loads of lag in the bat. A corner outfielder, Zumwalt is a good athlete with the makings of a real impactful stick in his future.
