CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The addition of two BCS Finals events highlight the early portion of the 2012 Perfect Game tournament schedule, which has been released and is now posted online at www.perfectgame.org.
Perfect Game officials have added 12u BCS Finals and 13u BCS Finals to the 2012 tournament schedule. Those events join the 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u and 18u BCS Finals, metal bat tournaments which will be staged in Fort Myers, Fla., from late June and well into July for the seventh consecutive year.
The 2012 12u BCS Finals run June 30 through July 6, and will be held at the East Cobb Complex in Marietta, Ga. The other six BCS Finals are scheduled to be held in Fort Myers.
The 12u BCS Finals will run concurrently with the PG WWBA 2012 Grads or 18u National Championship in Marietta. The 14u and 16u BCS Finals will be in Fort Myers over those same dates (June 30-July 6).
The 2012 Perfect Game tournament schedule kicks off May 25-28 in Fort Myers with the running of the 4th annual 16u and 18u WWBA Memorial Day Classic. The schedule then shifts to north to Marietta for the 3rd annual 14u/15u, 16u and 17u/18u Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational June 6-11.
The 2012 WWBA 2016 Grads or 14u National Championship is slated for June 18-21 and is the first of five WWBA National Championships that will run consecutively from June 18 through July 20 at the East Cobb Complex.
The six BCS Finals tournaments (excluding the 12u) run consecutively from June 30 through July 20 in Fort Myers. The 14u/16u (June 30-July 6), the 13u/15u (July 7-13) and the 17u/18u (July 14-20) are held concurrently.
