Hannah Focht (2025, Council Hill, Okla.) with the Oklahoma Intimidators has a strong presence that made quite the impression at and behind the plate. Her upright form behind the plate makes her a quick pop for any throw down with many opponents thrown out on a steal. Her accurate arm is a nice touch in gaining another out for her team. She fights for every strike for her pitchers and takes the same mentality up to bat. She shows great potential as a player with her efforts to throw her all into each at-bat and behind the plate, pulling to gain strikes for her pitchers.

Right-handed pitcher Hailey Prince (2025, Checotah, Okla.) with Oklahoma Intimidators was touching an impressive 60 mph with control to follow. Accuracy and a touch of movement gave her the advantage of 20 strikeouts for the weekend. In the pitching rink she stands out with next-level potential as she grows.

Abigail Jamros (2026, Joplin, Mo.) with Building Champions- Aces exhibits what true hustle can do to make an impact. She often was hustling every minute of the game, whether it be on or off the field. She was throwing an average of 54 mph with precision in her pitches. At the plate she had a consistent bat with line drives often sliced through the 5-6 hole. She throws her hands at the ball with each swing to ensure hard contact.

5-foot-1 second baseman Erin Bridendolph (2028, Bartlesville, Okla.) with Intimidators- Pelligrino jumps on anything that comes her way with great range to trap even the trickiest of hits. Her mechanics in the field are exact and consistent as she takes on hard hits to her.

Brooke Paalhar (2026, Liberty, Mo.) with Louisville Lady Slugger 07- Black batted over .500 with zero strikeouts for the weekend and had a keen eye at the plate, and when the right pitch presented itself she would drove her hips through with quick hands. Her constant bat played a role in her team winning the tournament.

The long-legged 5-foot-8 right-handed pitcher Allyson Orth (2026, Wichita, Kan.) with 316 Elite was touching 58 mph at the mound while steadily hitting her spots. She put some movement into play with her pitches to add a level up of difficulty for her opponents. Her bat was just as steady as she pushed for hard hits each time at the plate.

Erica Spiker (2026, St. Joseph, Mo.) with MC Creepers presented potential behind the plate as a right-handed catcher. Her ability to frame pitches as needed into a strike was grand for turning things around for her team. She stays on the ball, making herself a strong wall for any obstacles that come her way.

Leadoff batter Tangant Tuggle (2026, Blue Springs, Mo.) explodes with speed to get on base when getting things started. She reads well when rounding and uses this to her advantage to push for extra bases. She takes this behind the plate as she can jump on pitches for great reads and make the right move to ensure added strikes. Her overall potential shines.

Kayla Benthall (2026, Platte City, Mo.) with Diamond Club Premier Kramer stood out as a lefty slapper this weekend with exceptionally quick feet, pushing for all extra bases she could gain. She had great shots through the 5-6 hole with hard middle-of-the-ball hits. Her footwork in slapping position made a mark and plays a huge part with her consistency to make solid contact with the ball.

Right-handed pitcher Kinley Ruder (2027, Shawnee, Kan.) with Diamond Club Premier Kramer made an impact with the spin she could whip out on her pitches. She throws an average 63 mph pitches with an exceptional command in her pitches. As a pitcher she stands out with her combination of speed, movement, and accuracy all coming together before your eyes. Significant potential for the pitcher in the future.

Left-handed pitcher Emma Heinemann (2026, Olathe, Kan.) with KC Bandits 07/08 averaged 52 mph but her pitches tail off at the end just at the right moment, making it tough for batters to catch a hit. With her change in the mix at 34 mph, it throws most for a loop for even a thought to take a swing. Her textbook swing makes it so she is a consistent bat, throwing her whole body into her swing.

Utility player Lauren Krieger (2024, Middletown, Iowa) for Eastern Iowa Barracudas Vantiger brought her quick feet into service. She often pushed the limits against opponents for extra bases and succeeded with her swiftness. On the field at shortstop, she had an immense amount of range that she was able to snag hard-to-reach flyballs.

Kadence Shepherd (2024, Blue Springs, Mo.) helped lead her team, Top Gun Nationals BW, go undefeated this weekend, outscoring their opponents in pool play 36-1. This 5-foot-8 middle infielder presents an open stance in the box, with a load that produces elite power. Shepherd has incredible zone awareness, as she walked five times. She went 6-for-8 at the plate. Shepherd is a top prospect. Her weekend totals included a home run, eight runs and 10 RBI.

Carrie Green (2024, Loganville. Ga.) is a left-handed slapper who places the ball anywhere. She is a threat offensively. She shows plus ability to drive the ball with authority to both gaps. Her speed really plays up and enhances her offensive skill set. She went 10-for-12 at the plate, finishing the weekend with a .833 batting average. Green collected some pretty stats including eight singles, one home run, five RBI, and five stolen bases. Huge future for this 2024 prospect.

Right alongside her teammates Shepard and Green was McNeese State University commit Erynn Boatright (2023, Independence, Mo.), a 5-foot-5 outfielder for Top Gun Nationals BW. Boatright shows advanced feel for the barrel and absolutely owned the plate, spraying the field with bullets. Boatright was named 16U MVP for the weekend. Her incredible performance at the plate included six safeties in nine official ABs. This elite hitter's stat line included one single, two doubles, two triples, a home run, and five walks. Boatright was responsible for 14 of her team's runs.

Top Gun National - MC placed second against their sister team, outscoring their opponents 20-7 in pool play. Leading the way offensively was Siena Snyder (2025, Saint Louis, Mo.). She absolutely annihilates the ball, using all 5-foot-10 of her body to produce advanced power through contact. Snyder has a picture-perfect bat path that puts her hands in a position to make clean contact as she drives all the way through the ball with noticeable force. She also has a solid lower half that gets her hips through, producing plus power. She collected 10 base hits, including five singles, four doubles, and a no-doubt home run over the left field fence. Snyder crossed the plate seven times for Top Gun National - MC.

Sydnee Wagner (2026, Grain Valley, Mo.) not only played up in competition for Top Gun National - MC, but she stood out. An eighth grader at Grain Valley Middle School, Wagner shows big velo, easily pumping out 58-61 mph heat. She has a complete arsenal of pitches at her disposal, each with exceptional movement that kept batters chasing. This young hurler struck out 26 batters in 13 innings, posting a .62 WHIP. The future is big and bright for this young pitcher.

Kelsie Donaldson (2026, Grain Valley, Mo.) also played up in the 16U division, drawing attention, turning heads, and making a name for herself. This 5-foot-7 LHP works in the 56-58 velocity range. Donaldson has a four-plus pitch repertoire, each producing great spin. She posted 17 strikeouts in 9 innings, 13 of those being in a single game. Maybe even more impressive is her offensive ability. Donaldson is a left-handed power hitter who hits line drives to each area of the field. She ended the weekend with 11 base hits and a .688 average. Keep an eye out of this top prospect over the next few years.

In 10 innings, Aubrey Lensmeyer (2025, Ankeny, Iowa) struck out 23 opponents in the circle, only walking one batter, earning herself a .80 WHIP. This 5-foot-5 uncommitted Iowa Outlaw is a two-way player with sound skill and ability at the plate as well. She was successful seven of 11 at-bats. She has tremendous pull-side power, putting the ball in play and earning three singles and four doubles. She earned and assisted in nine runs for Iowa Outlaws Select 06 Andrew.

Brooke Janning (2025, Blair, Neb.) went 10-for-13 at the plate, knocking in five runs, and scoring 4 times for NE Quakes Prime - Jonas 15U.

Lauren Heser (2024, Omaha, Neb.) went 6-for-7 offensively, including five singles, one triple, and four walks. She assisted in 11 runs for NE Quakes Prime - Jonas 15U.

Taylor Baumhoer (2024, Bonnots Mill, Mo.) pitched Select Fastpitch 18U SC to victory against Ozark Union 05 in the championship game, helping her club take home the title. This uncommitted sophomore dominates from the mound with 57-61 mph speeds, capitalizing on an almost untouchable curveball that slices through the zone. Baumhoer struck out 21 batters in 13 innings, earning a 1.15 WHIP. She helped lead the team to an undefeated weekend, outscoring their opponents 28-2 in pool play.

Coming in second place for a successful weekend was Ozark Union 05, led offensively by Audrey Carlton (2025, Nina, Mo.). The freshman slugger displays elite plate coverage with a plus swing operation and phenomenal feel for the barrel. She has a quick and simple load, clearing her lower half and making solid connection in each at-bat. Her level bat path assisted her in going 7-for-11, knocking in seven RBI, crossing the pay station three times. Carlton uses the entire field and her numbers included four singles, a double, and two home runs. She undoubtedly has a bright future at the collegiate level.

Kiana McDowell (2023, Liberty, Mo.) is another exceptional right-handed hurler with a four-plus pitch variation. She works confidently to all areas of the zone, including a rise that shoots to the ceiling and a drop that produces easy outs. In 15 innings, she struck 16 batters that helped produce a 1.6 WHIP for the weekend.

Our last standout pitcher in the 18U division being highlighted this weekend was Sophia DeFino (2024, Des Moines, Iowa), a LHP for GP Select Iowa. This 5-foot-4 sophomore possesses a competitive range of spins that assisted her in chalking up 19 strikeouts in 11 innings. Each of her pitches plays well off each other, leaving batters chasing. She has a screw and curve that break quickly and complement her jumping rise. Finally, DeFino has a deceptive changeup, keeping her arm action consistent and playing off of her power pitches well.

The energy was electric from first pitch to final out towering home runs, edge-of-your-seat battles, dramatic comebacks, and extra-inning thrillers with some unpredictable endings, it was a great weekend all around. The Top Performers list welcomed some exciting new names, while seasoned seniors continued to cement their legacies, delivering standout performances week after week. For some, this may have been their final appearance on a Perfect Game stage, and they made sure it was unforgettable. In the 18u division a tough Nebraska Gold 319 Berning team outlasted the Southeast Iowa All Stars in the championship. April 7th Perfect Game/Player of the Week: Andrew Williamson, OF, UCF The UCF Knights (20-9) are coming off one of their biggest series victories in years when they went to Morgantown and took down the Mountaineers to take control of the Big 12 regular season standings. The offense put on quite the performance and Andrew Williamson set the tone by leaving the yard in his first at-bat of the weekend launching a towering home run over the centerfield wall. The 6-0/195 lefty from St. Petersburg, FL has one of the sweetest strokes in the college game today and when he goes, so do the Knights. In the 3-game series, the junior collected 6 hits in his 10 at-bats, scoring 6 runs, on 5 walks, a double and he launched 3 home runs all told. With another week in the books, some teams at the top continue to prove they are elite, and others continue to fall by the wayside. Meanwhile, there were several teams that had been lingering outside the Top 25 that had huge weekends to put themselves in the thick of things as every weekend has significant consequences for good or for bad. The No. 1 UCLA Bruins (29-2) have now pushed their win streak to an incredible 23-games as they swept USC (27-6) who was previously ranked No. 7 in the poll. The Bruins are off to a perfect (15-0) start in Big Ten play and are without a doubt the most complete team in the country right now. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (26-5) move up to No. 2 this week after they dismantled now No. 12 Auburn (22-9) in the midweek and then swept Cal on the West Coast last weekend. Another pair of weeks has gone by this high school season and with that we have another High School Top-50 Update. Southern states are within a few weeks of the end of the season while some northern states are just getting started this week. Through the end of the spring, we will be bringing you updates to the Top-50 along with state rankings updates coming soon. For the first time in 2026, we have a new #1 in the country as Orange Lutheran (CA) takes over the top spot after winning the NHSI. Venice (FL) came in second place at the NHSI after a thrilling game against Orange Lutheran and comes in at #2. Previous #1 team in the country St. John Bosco (CA) rounds out the top-3 and will have a big showdown against Orange Lutheran starting tonight. Barbe (LA) boasts a 26-1 record and comes in at #4 while Corona (CA) continues to string together wins and holds down the #5 spot in this update....
