The OPA Jays have over 30 years of history within the Houston Select Baseball community. Originally known as the Houston Jays, before being rebranded as the HBA Jays, and now finally One Percent Academy (OPA) Jays.
In 2008, the slogan was used, "The Tradition Continues" and with a notable list of alumni who have been apart of the organization, we are committed to the present and future. We take pride in the culture developed within Jays Baseball to allow the players to get the most out of their development, which is our #1 goal. We instill within them the mindset of striving to get One Percent better every day and how that daily effort will compound overtime in their efforts to achieve their goals!
