Amani Tuiasosopo is a 2030 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Issaquah, WA who attends Renton Christian. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, long limbs with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet with clean angles, softness to hands out front and glove plays well, can work from multiple slots, strong arm with carry and comes out cleanly, shows accuracy across the diamond. Also pitched, side step at start, tall on backside with a long and whippy arm stroke working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, lands on line towards the plate, comes out cleanly with low effort. Can vary leg lifts for deception; showed 11-5 shape to breaker with late life up to 74 mph, maintains enough on release of changeup as well. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set in the box, utilizes a short stride moving into contact. Creates extension out front and shows strength to the gaps with quick hands. Stays connected and repeats well, feel for barrel and strength coming off. Named to the 2025 13u Select Festival.
