2026 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Greyson Garza is a 2029 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Steilacoom, WA who attends Steilacoom. Slender young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 4.71 runner in the forty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick and sure hands fielding the ball, gets into position to field early, active quick feet, has good arm strength with some effort into release, plays well on the run. Also worked out in the outfield with similar athleticism and arm strength but is best suited to the infield. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a simple load and trigger, small leg raise and stride, lower hand load with a slight uphill swing path, has some hand quickness and young bat speed, works gap to gap with good barrel control. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a deceptive compact arm action and a low 3/4's arm slot, low effort mechanics that show his athleticism. Fastball was up to 84 mph with late run and sink. Change up was a very good pitch with late hard fade and depth. Slider was used with two strikes with good sweeping depth in the low 70's. Has potential on the mound as he gets stronger. Excellent student. Named to the PG Northwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
