Sam Deibel is a 2028 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends MICDS. Slender athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Works from a full windup with a high leg raise and a clean medium length arm action, athletic mover with a smooth arm action, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph and was pretty straight with occasional sink and run. Firm change up was also straight but replicates the arm speed and release on it well. Mid-70's slider flashed some spin and shape but can be tightened up. 7.05 runner in the sixty. Secondary middle infielder on defense, moves laterally well and showed his athleticism, tends to play tall at times, arm strength is solid. Right handed hitter, sets up in an even spread stance with a leg lift timer, stays well connected and gets into his lower half into his swing, line drive swing plane with lots of barrel control and some bat speed, squared it up to all fields, hitting tools to develop as he gets stronger. Named to the PG National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
