Brendan Lawson is a 2024 SS/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute. Recorded a 6.96 second 60-yard dash time. Good size and strength with plenty of room to project. Primary shortstop with good hand quickness and a clean arm path. Quicker transfers and hand quickness. Good body control and can throw from multiple slots with accuracy. Left-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an over the head start. All fields approach and gets onto front side quickly. Very good bat speed with a vertical finish through contact. Smoothness to the left-handed swing with good pull side power. Good combination of hit and power tools with upside offensively. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Florida. Named to the 2023 PG All-American Classic.
