Nathan Tichy is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Pioneer. Lean build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.69 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, has a short quick arm circle with clean actions. Gets down hill easy and hides the ball well throughout his delivery. The fastball sat 76-80 mph with ride through the zone, worked best down in the zone. Showed the ability to locate to all sides on the plate and generate swings and misses. Worked out in the outfield, showed off his athleticism, moved well laterally and came to the ball well. Displayed a quick transfer and release with firm accurate throws. Was clocked up tp 79 mph on throws from the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, the hands sit low by the letters with a leg kick. Showed the ability to hit the ball well to both gaps for power. Consistently hit the ball on a line. Good student.
