2023 Fall Midwest Workout Showcase
Aiden Ulrich is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B, SS with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from West Bend, IA who attends Algona. A medium frame with some thickness to the build and strength throughout the build. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman who moved well laterally during his round and took good angles to the ball. He had a whippy arm with a quicker release. He moved well and had accurate throws across the infield, throwing 80 mph. He had a feel for the glove with smoothness to the hands. A right-handed hitter with an even base and mostly upright stance. He had higher hands and a high back elbow. He toe-taps and then drifts forward into it. He gathers over the backside and then makes an aggressive move forward. There was some lift in the swing working pull-side. He was able to get the barrel working uphill through the zone. Created some separation. He showed some good swings to the middle of the field during his round of BP swings, with strength off the barrel. He shifts the weight through contact well and impacts it with strength. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Good student.
