2026 PG Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Dylan Hobert is a 2027 C/UT with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Glendale, AZ who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium athletic build with plenty of strength throughout. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, comes out of his crouch well and has good lower half athleticism, received and threw the ball very well in the games, 2.13 and 2.16 game throws on the bag, should keep improving defensively with his current skill set. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a deep hand load, long and strong swing with present bat speed and good separation, ball comes off the barrel well, mostly pull side contact. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a high energy delivery and some recoil at release, sinks into his lower half and drives to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 80's with some running life. Maintained his arm speed well on his curveball and change up and sold them well. Bullpen type arm and approach. Very good student. Named to the PG Preseason HS Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
