On the mound, full windup with a side step into a belt-high lift, slower controlled pace into a taller finish. Longer arm swing through the back and comes through an over-the-top slot. Fastball was 76-80 mph T81 with some carry. Curveball was 66 mph with 11-5 shape and depth and showed as a quality strike pitch. Worked in the infield with quick hands and good whip to the arm, clean release from a 3/4 slot and strength across, posted 84 mph across the infield. Clean backhands and footwork stayed direct to the baseball, lateral range continues to improve as reps stack. Worked in the outfield with fundamental footwork and fields it out front. Throws showed carry from a 3/4 slot, 86 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter with an upright narrow stance and a hanging leg lift trigger, smooth move into contact with strength through the swing, showed hard contact to the back of the cage and barrel control with a slight uphill path. Excellent student. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
