Dane Rue is a 2025 RHP/3B/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends Wall. Works from a medium frame with present athleticism. Primary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up delivery, coiled leg lift, shorter stride to foot strike, shorter arm stroke, tons of hand speed. Ran the fastball up to 83 mph. Landed slurvy breaking ball with lateral sweep and late depth for strikes, good spin metrics on the breaker. Displayed good command of his mix, tunneled it effectively, repeats movements very well, held the same velocity band all three innings, projects for an uptick in velocity with added strength. Struck out five over three perfect innings in live action. Secondary third baseman, quick feet, controlled movements, good lateral range, looks the part, recorded arm strength up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with tight hands, synced-up load, leg lift trigger, compact hand speed, some strength in the hands and at impact, recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.52 sixty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
