2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase
Landon Lassahn is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona Area. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. In the OF showed quality actions. Avg. quickness/aggressiveness in the approach. Some slow down into reception and fields it slightly deep of his back foot. Used a longer arm action that got off strong downhill accurate throws flashing above avg. strength. At the plate, operates from a wider base and uses a simple forward move. His foot gets down early with some slight drift onto the frontside. Shows loose/relaxed hands that get the barrel into a flatter launch. Bat path works more level through the zone. Average bat/hand speed with inconsistent feel for the barrel. Point of contact was consistently out front which led to a good amount of top spun LDs to the pullside. On the mound is where he showed his best upside. Side steps into an upper chest knee lift than that works more drop/drive down the mound with some slight push off the rubber. Some effort to the operation but creates good length/extension. Full/loose arm action that gets to a higher 3/4 slot with noticeable armspeed. Some pull/off at times but mostly good direction. Ran the FB into the mid 80s that showed strong life/carry through producing some whiffs over barrels. Strong feel for his CB in the low 70s that has strong vertical depth producing several buckled takes and whiffs. Mixed in a mid-upper 70s straight CH as well. Outstanding student. Named to 2025 PG Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
