Matthew Wetherell is a 2027 C/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Trinity Catholic. Athletic medium size frame. Ran a 6.87 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with efficient online footwork, clean transfers and popped a 2.00 and threw 78 mph with accuracy from the position. Blend of speed and arm strength in the outfield, moves well and shows above average arm strength with improving accuracy. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing, blend of strength and bat speed with a short path to the baseball and pop off the barrel. Upside traits all around the diamond. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
