Eli Stephens is a 2026 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends Chaminade College Preparatory. Large, strong looking frame with strength throughout and plenty of time to physically mature. Recoded a 7.80 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, a deeper funnel and worked through the baseball with extra steps. Displayed some agility on his turns to throw and recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a belt high leg lift and shorter stride out to foot strike. Incorporates a glove tap for timing upon takeaway and worked into a shorter arm circle on the backside.Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 80 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. Generates downhill plane to his fastball and showed some command to the outer half with it, mixed in developing breaking ball that showed gradual depth that will continue to improve with proper refinements and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a even hand start and leg lift trigger. Incorporates deeper hand load and rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch. Whole field approach with plenty of present bat speed and strength in his hands. Intent based stroke with developing bat-to-ball skills, flashed loud impact when on-time and in-sync. Physical, still developing prospect with upside in all facets of his game, will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments defensive, on the mound and proper swing adjustments. Good Student.
