2026 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Landyn Bergsieker is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Gov John Rogers. Tall and athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary third baseman who also shows potential on the mound as a two-way prospect. 5.21 runner in the forty. Arm strength is his best defensive tool, lots of carry across, can quicken his release with his feet and a glove tap slowing him down, good glove actions and fields the ball cleanly. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance with good rhythm in his leg raise and hand load, works downhill into the ball, has strength and bat speed and flashes hard pull side contact, hitting tools to continue to develop. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot on the mound, tends to open his front side early, arm works well out front. Fastball was in the mid-80's with some ride through the zone. Slider had very good spin and sharpness and is a potential plus pitch, manipulated the shape well and showed feel. Good student. Named to the PG Northwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
