Tyler Scott is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Waubonsie Valley. Long and lean high-waisted build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, showing a direct line to the baseball with controlled, choppy steps and an out-front catch, working through the ball with momentum and carrying it into throws; longer arm action with developing arm strength, and throws showed carry with workable accuracy. On the mound, works from a windup with a sidestep into the lower half and a closed setup, landing slightly off-line toward third base, then coming through a longer arm path from a high 3/4 slot; fastball sat 78-81 and touched 81 with some carry, mixed a 74 changeup with depth and fade, and turned over a 67 curveball with 11-5 shape, competing in and around the zone while mixing speeds. Right-handed hitter with a spread, wide base and some hand quickness, getting to a few line drives to the back of the cage and showing the ability to lift the ball when synced; continued improvements to getting the foot down on time should help the swing play more consistently. Excellent student. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
