Nicholas Cote is a 2025 3B/1B/2B with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Oakville, ON who attends Oakville Trafalgar. Athletic build, ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Infielder with glove actions, stays low and gets to a consistent fundamental fielding position, some lateral quickness and a solid average arm across the diamond. Hit from a wide base with toe tap timing at the plate. Shows some hand speed and keeps the hands inside the baseball with some feel for getting to the barrel and impacting the baseball with gap to gap pop. Swing can get long at times and there's room for development as he incorporates backside rotation in sync with his swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
