Jackson Gonzalez is a 2026 C/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock-Cooper Liberty. Primary Catcher with an average sized frame. Sets up from an RKD stance behind the dish. Has a quick transfer and release and recorded a 2.07 pop time. Gets it out quick and on a line. Will need to continue to develop arm strength moving forward. Right-handed hitter with an upright narrow base. Has a high handset with some bat wiggle before the pitch. Uses a leg raise and stride into contact to widen out and to get on time. Transfer the weight back well and swings with intent. Found barrels to pull and up the middle during his round with power projecting the best. Excellent Student.
