Ben Fawcett is a 2024 RHP/2B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Long Grove, IL who attends Adlai E Stevenson. Slender young build with plenty of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery on the mound, still developing consistency in his balance and direction over and down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the low 70's and topped out at 72 mph. Curveball was his best pitch this day, landed it well with 11/5 action and some depth. 7.68 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, works to the ball well with good footwork and fields the ball cleanly, quick exchange to throw, tends to fall off throwing impacting his accuracy and carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly closed stance with an off-plate upper body lean that impacts his balance and direction, best contact was on the inner half pulling the ball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
