2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Wyatt Blanton is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Warner Robins, GA who attends Peach County. Medium build with good present strength and some physical projection remaining. Ran a 6.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, who worked out at the position, with a good feel for the approach, with athleticism shown. He charged the ball hard with some momentum, showing clean transfers, with a feel to show good glove work. Quick arm with carry shown, with throws coming out at 86 mph. Took BP as a right-handed hitter, with an even base, low hands, and a bent-knee setup. He showed good hand speed, with a high finish working through it. He was rotational, with some hand speed and some feel to produce well-struck liners. He took some loud swings during BP and was able to produce hard-hit contact. Produced an 88 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Swung it well in-game as well, producing some well-struck contact and showing the hit tool in-game. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, with a standard side-step delivery, working from the first base side, with a staggered start. He had a belt-high leg lift, working directly down the slope, with a medium arm swing and three-quarters arm slot. The fastball worked 79-84 mph with some sink, and it allowed him to find some swing-and-miss. He also showed a mid-70s slider, with some slurvy shape. He was around the plate with his fastball and the breaker. Excellent student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.
