2026 PG Ohio Valley Indoor Showcase
Leo Kelly is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Long and strong build, stands out for his age and class physically. Primary third baseman on defense, arm strength is his best defensive tool, has nice carry with some effort on release, still developing his lower half agility and quickness. Also worked out at first base and may end up there in the future. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium stance with a short knee lift trigger and some back side gather, has some bat speed and turns the barrel over out front, swings hard, has plenty of power potential in the future. Also pitched and has some potential on the mound. Has a well sequenced and fluid delivery that gets into his lower half well, lower release slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with good ride up in the zone and sink down. Change up was his best secondary pitch, still developing his feel for spinning the ball. Good student. Named to the PG Ohio Valley Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
