2025 PG North Indoor Showcase
Jack Spielmann is a 2027 C/RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Milton, WI who attends Milton. A taller and lean frame with a high-waisted build and long levers throughout the frame. He has room to keep filling out moving forward as well. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who worked out of the crouch with some athleticism. He had slightly open feet, jumping out of the crow-hop and gaining some ground with a strong arm and feel to keep throws on a good flight. He was accurate around the bag with a shorter and compact release. Threw 76 mph down to second and produced a 2.09 pop time. He was accurate during the round and showed good actions. He took BP as a left-handed hitter with a spread base, high hands, the back elbow up, and slightly open feet. He made an aggressive leg lift trigger with good whip and bat speed to impact. He showed some feel to impact and had a loose stroke with hard turns working through contact. He lifted well, working pull-side and back up the middle during his round with hard turns and good bat speed. He stayed connected well and was able to turn through it well, staying in-sync. He put together a really good round of BP swings. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the wind-up with a leg lift at the belt and knee-to-waist motion. He works down the slope fine, pitching from a higher three-quarters arm slot, showing some whip and arm speed working through it. He had a fast arm with some feel for release, and he was able to replicate it well. The fastball worked 80-84 mph with some late life, and he was able to miss bats up. He also showed some angle in the lower half of the zone. The curveball worked around 70 mph with some depth and a good downer shape to it. Excellent student. Named to 2025 North Indoor Showcase TP List.
