Chase McCrary is a 2026 OF/IF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Gordon, GA who attends Georgia Connections Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, deliberate actions through the ball, can carry him momentum into his throws better, has good raw arm strength and makes accurate throws, showed his athleticism. Switch hitter at the plate, more advanced from the right side at present, starts from an open stance with quiet hands in his loads, turns his hips well and gets into lower half, line drive swing plane with some bat speed and impact. Upright and narrow on the left side with a spinning and rotational swing, comes off the ball early, will struggle with anything middle away at present. Good student.
