Appeared in the outfield during defensive workouts, taking direct paths to the ball before utilizing efficient glove work. He produced throws up to 89 from a lower and quicker arm slot. At the plate, he starts with an upright and even base, keeping the hands high. Employs an inward toe tap leg load pre-launch, producing exit velocities up to 84. On the mound, he showcases athleticism and projection, using a full windup that starts at the belt. Works down the mound via a high three-quarters slot, getting a heavy fastball up to 86. Possesses an advanced mix of secondaries, starting with a sweeping slider that showcased two-plane depth. Showed the ability to turn over a fading change-up. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
