Matty Blanusa is a 2026 RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Dexter Southfield. Medium athletic build. Works from a simple turn and throw delivery with a high leg raise start, compact arm action with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with good carry through the zone, gets above barrels consistently. Tends to wrap a hard curveball with developing feel, also threw a straight change up that he will slow his body into release on. Live arm with work to do on his secondary pitches. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Worked out in both the infield and outfield and showed best in the outfield, really gets on top of his throws well in the outfield and creates on line one hop accurate throws. Arm strength played well in the infield, too. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with some drift onto his front side, has a short and inside swing path, line drive contact to all fields with developing strength at contact. Very good student.
