2023 Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)  
Mason Patience is a 2026 1B/OF with a 6-1 164 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Beacon. Patience works from a long limbed and still plenty projectable build with room to fill out and add strength. At 1B, displayed an aggressive buildup with deep fielding funnel. Used a full arm action to produce accurate throws across the diamond up to 73 mph. From the OF, got behind the baseball and put himself in positions to throw, releasing on target with urgency and compactness to the actions. Ultimately topped out at 75 mph. On the offensive end, the lefty started from a wider slightly open base with a tight hand set and leg lift trigger. He flashed a level line drive stroke through the zone and effectively worked the entire field for contact. Incorporated the lower half well with additional power potential in the future. Posted an exit velo of 78 mph. Ran a 7.70 sixty yard dash. Good student.
