Chase Hamerschlag is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Cranbury, NJ who attends Princeton. Hamerschlag immediately impressed to start his event by posting a 6.74 sixty yard dash. There's evident athleticism and natural ability to be found, as the '26 prospect worked from the IF displaying a sound buildup with soft hands. He was able to adjust on the run with effortless life across the diamond up to 92 mph. The arm strength continued on the mound, where the righty started from the 1B side of the rubber with clean mechanics overall to ultimately top out at 87 mph. He released from a high 3/4 slot and created solid extension down the slope with breaker showing solid vertical depth up to 1701 rpm. Offensively, started from an open base with leg lift trigger utilized. Hamerschlag certainly doesn't get cheated on swings and generates impact out in front with clear jump off the barrel. Posted an exit velo of 86 mph. Named to Top Prospect List.
