2025 PG Chicago Indoor Showcase
Landon Ehman is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Frankfort, IL who attends Lincoln-Way East. An athletic frame and medium build with a higher-set waist. There's some length to the levers. Projectable moving forward. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who had some athletic traits on display with good footwork and a feel for the actions, working to it and through it. He can move well, working into the funnel with a clean gather, showing a longer and whippy arm action. Threw from a lower three-quarters slot with some arm speed, throwing 83 mph during his round of throws. He had clean actions with some bounce to the feet and was able to move well overall. A left-handed hitter with open feet, high hands, and the back elbow up. He uses an inward toe tap with a good move working through contact. It's a pretty loose and fluid stroke with some balance overall. Showed some bat speed and the ability to impact out in front with a jump off of the barrel. He worked backside and pull-side for good impacts gap-to-gap. He was on the barrel pretty consistently with hard and quick turns. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. A right-handed pitcher with a wind-up into a sidestep into the leg lift. He has a knee-to-chest leg lift with some push down the slope. He had some urgency and tempo to the delivery. Showed some whip to the arm and good speed through release. The fastball worked 78-80 mph with some angle and life to it. He also showed a curveball in the upper-60s with bigger shape and 11-5 depth to it. Showed tight spin with late bite that allowed him to miss some bats. He commanded the zone pretty well and was able to piece together a good outing on the mound. Good student. Named to 2025 Chicago Indoor Showcase TP List.
