Trevor Rivas is a 2027 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from La Crescenta, CA who attends La Canada. Medium frame with long, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.36 seconds. Hits from narrow and slightly open stance, smoothness to barrel once launch, wraps deep above head and creates steep entry angle, whole-field approach, projects for power as he matures. Worked out in the infield, clean hand actions with smoothness to footwork, comes through the ball well and understands angles, solid defensive foundation here. Also pitched, high leg lift with high 3/4 slot release, compact stroke through the back, short finish, fastball worked 74-76 mph and peaked at 78 mph, flashed downer shape to breaker, threw good strikes. Very good student.
