Carter Dorrington is a 2025 RHP/IF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Ancaster, ON. Recorded a 7.44 second 60-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and slender build. Short side step from a staggered feet start windup on the first base side of the rubber. Belt-high lift with a short arm swing delivery and 3/4 arm slot release. Quick tempo delivery that hides the ball well with his quick arm slot delivery. Fastball in the 77-81 mph range (1975 RPM) and breaking ball up to 71 mph (1650 RPM). Works quick and controls the zone with the fastball, and uses the curveball as an out pitch. Solid delivery and mechanics that he repeats well on the bump. Secondary infielder with range to both sides and young fielding actions. Made throws across the diamond at 80 mph with clean exchange and pretty good hands to both sides. Left-handed hitter with an even base and high-hands setup in the box. Short knee-lift trigger stride with separation to a high back elbow slot. Works through the middle of the field with linear bat path and increased impact as he fills out his slender athletic frame.
