Luke Foulds is a 2024 RHP with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Thunder Bay, ON. Extra-large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, abbreviated windup on the mound, big coil at top of leg lift, some drop and drive through lower half mechanics with a shorter stride down the mound; gets down the mound quickly, short arm action through the back and hides it well working to a high three-quarters release point. Some effort at release, worked exclusively off of fastball in live action, up to 84 mph with some riding life through the zone, tends to open front side early coming down, able to challenge hitters up in the zone, will continue to refine a consistent release point. Showed a slider up to 74 mph in between inning with short, downer depth and can implement into live arsenal. Named to PG CPBL Fall Top Prospect List.
