2026 PG Chicago Indoor Showcase
Nolan Maranell is a 2029 SS/RHP with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Wheaton, IL who attends Wheaton Warrenville South. Big and strong build, especially for his age. Ran a 7.68 60-yard dash. On the mound, full windup with a side step into a belt-high lift. Longer arm action with a loose swing and comes through a high 3/4 slot. Drop-and-drive delivery that works downhill. Fastball was 80-82 mph T82 with arm-side run and life. Curveball was 65 mph with 11-5 shape and bite and showed as a swing-and-miss pitch. Worked in the infield with quick hands and a clean release, glove works to both sides and showed feel for the spot, 84 mph across the infield. Right-handed hitter with quick hands and quick turns, rotational move that stays connected, showed impact out front with hard contact to the pull side and back of the cage. Excellent student. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
