2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Anthony Iatarola is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a lean 6-0 166 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends George W. Jenkins HS. Started off the event clocking a 6.83 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher with a long, loose arm path out of a lower ¾ slot. Shows an under control, quiet delivery with hands separating early in delivery creating good shoulder separation from the front side. Iatarola is a strike thrower that showed good arm side run and great life with the fastball. Slider showed a tight profile with good swing and miss depth getting numerous swing and misses on pitches in the zone. Overall, very impressive outing, working three innings allowing two hits, and striking out eight in the process.
