Jaedon Lawton is a 2028 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Rockledge. Solid young athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight medium stance with a comfortable hand load, stays balanced and directional well and gets into his lower half well, clean and functional swing that projects well, has present bat speed with more to come. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball to the side and carries his momentum into his throws, makes accurate one hop throws with some on line carry. Also worked out in the infield as a secondary third baseman but is much better suited for the outfield at present. Took a turn on the mound, has a standard side step/leg raise delivery with an extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and got on hitters well with some arm side life. Also threw a short slider that can be tightened up. Good student.
